We Came Second at Farley

Thanks to all who made the journey to Farley tonight. An enjoyable game but the home side came out on top by 15 runs. Moses (4 overs for 8 runs) and Oscar Barnes (3 for 28) were the pick of the bowlers, and Tom Campbell delivered a fine spell at the death. Farley ended with 152-9 from their 20 overs. Adam Battisson led the chase (after an unfortunate early mix up with his opening partner), and had to retire at 50. Oscar provided the support and Matt Greatley hit the accelerator before he was stumped. Despite some big swings, we couldn’t get over the line. Three new players in action, a game played in sunshine and fine spirits, and plenty of beer and Nepalese food after.
