Queries enjoyed a second win of the season on Friday evening with an 8 wkt win over Erlestoke and Coulston CC. It was a 20 over thrash, ECCC ran up a total of 161 for 4, with Humphrey Hughes and Paul Sullivan taking 2 wickets apiece thanks to excellent catching by Jack Campbell and skipper Rupert Bagnall.
In our reply we lost Josh Sullivan (9) and James Illingworth (18) with less than 50 on the board but then Jack and Simon Campbell piled on the runs, with Jack retiring not out on 53, his father carrying his bat for 47, a cameo 7 from Ian Wheeler – and we had won by 8 wickets.
