Fred Coupe opened the batting and when his son Al;astair was out in the 3rd over, was joined by James Arney

Match 1 v Yorkshire Gents CC, 25th July at Escrick: won

Archie Hancock and Chris Downham : Jack Bramwell bowled 3 quite expensive overs !
Star batsman Brendon Louw hit a mighty 85, but [R] Sam Julyan managed just 14 before getting caught.
Match 2 v The Hawks on 26th July, at Otley CC: won
Joe Ford, keeper Dave Bromley, and slips Tom Pike and Jack Bramwell. [R] Sumith Surendran took 1 for 33 in 6 overs

Match 3 v Ilkley CC on 27th July at Ilkley: won

Tom Grant opened and scored a very fast 92 before getting bowled. [R] Tom Andrew came in a 3 and scored 18
Sam Julyan was not out 19 at thew close, whilst Brenson Louw [R] scored 87 of 39 balls, including five 6s

Sadly we have no photos from the 4th tour match against Southwell CC in Nottinghamshire which,
because of rain, became a T/20 game. The Queries won by 24 runs.
Queries v Canford Cygnets 13th July at Canford School: lost
On the left, Brendon Louw, opened with 55 before being judged lbw. On the right jack Bramwell was caught on the boundary for 53.

Cranch came in at 3, started quietly, then accelerated, and was caught
for 69. On the right Ian Perry was one of Ru Bunday’s run out victims!

Ru Bunday bowled 8 overs for 51 runs. Brian Thompson had to look on as a youngewr man, Brendon, took the gloves !
After drinks, Jack Bramwell took the gloves, allowing Brendon to bowl 8-0-39-1.

Max Romer-Lee opened the batting and nicked one to the keeper for 9: Joe Cranch scored 34 before he was caught.

Joe Cranch played a very competent innings for his 50, and then retired. Jack Bramwell also went ‘walkabout and was stumped.
Queries v Chilmark: 12th June: won by 8 wickets.

Max Romer-Lee scored an elegant and effortless 196, including a number of massive 6s.
Max was supported for a time by new-comer Alex Thompson [7*] [L] and Tom Andrew [41].
Tom Grant opened with Max and was in good touch for his 28 before he chipped one back to the bowler
Tom Pike bowled 4 overs for 27 runs; and Simon Campbell bowled 6 overs, taking 1 for 35.
Archie Easton didn’t have the best of days with the new ball. Meanwhile Max did have the best of days !
