Now that umpiring tasks for the 2024 season have come to an end, Barry A was looking for something for his idle hands to do, in addition to hitting golf balls. Whilst all of the Queries ‘modern’ results and score cards can be seen on the play-cricket.com website, all the matches pre-2001 are hidden away in score books lodged in his house. So one wet Sunday afternoon he started to upload some results to the play-cricket.com website and if you are interested you can now find the results of the Queries matches for 1933, 1934 and 1935 on that site along with match reports and some photos. The intention is to keep going, doing a little bit at a time, but given the size of the task it will take a year or six to achieve a result of having all the Queries match score cards visible and available to those who want to see them.
